Sex and the City 2 is based around fun, fashion, and the friendship between four women who’ve been friends for years. In this sequel Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda leave the Big Apple and travel out the country to Dubai, taking a break from their busy lives and loves. It's a getaway that comes at the right moment for them because they are finding themselves in and fighting against the traditional roles of marriage, motherhood and more. The movie is full of the hottest fashions for the most fashionable individuals.

This movie was absolutely terrible. The show was extremely entertaining and culturally significant. While it wasn't always realistic or feature the best writing, the issues the women faced were always easy to relate to in some way. The first movie was initially met with negativity from most, but I think many people have come around to it, including myself. This movie was so detached from everything - society's current climate, its audience and even the characters themselves. Also, what made the show great was not even featured- New York City. This show did such a great job of making the city a fifth character. This movie took place in a country many have no connection to and was truly just an endless fashion show.
